Therapeutic Life Consultant, Licensed Clinical Social Worker & Clinical Addictions Specialist
WELCOME!
Without rupture, there is no repair. Without imbalance, there is no balance. Without failure, there is no healing. Without fear, there is no faith.
Humans are attracted to things that make them feel better. Often people come to therapy seeking advice or a solution to a problem. That is what will feel better, right?
As a Therapist, I do not give advice. So what do I do as a Therapist?
Something even better…
I help people ALIGN & Act on their Purpose.
People get ”stuck” in life which causes misalignment with their purpose. Like a chiropractor aligns your spine, I (re)align people with themselves.
Recovery from mental health challenges and substance use requires a shift in our perspective. We must pivot from operating out of survival mode into a long-term, sustainable system of living. Using harm reduction approaches, we will work together to inventory your needs and utilize your strengths to optimize your effectiveness in overcoming your adverse experiences.
The goal for my clients or those who desire to adopt it: strive for a preventative wellness and recovery-based lifestyle.
Who do I work with? I take on new clients who are committed to doing the work. I work best with those who identify as a Provider; whether that be healthcare providers, parent, male, or female. I only ask that you have an openness and willingness to dedicate the time to taking care of yourself.
What aspects of mental health do I treat? I commonly work with clients in therapy/coaching on things such as ADHD, anxiety, depression, mood issues, and binge eating, to name a few. What is at the crux of all those diagnoses is codependency.
I will guide you through recovery from the imbalances that stem from the nature of being human.
I take a holistic approach to therapy, I am continuously assessing your baseline mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual perspective. These are the main ingredients to overcoming mental illness. No diagnosis has to be life long if addressed at the right time. Our sessions will flow with the natural experience of your life and address various topics and principles that intersect with your identity. To name a few, this can be boundaries, communication, life and wellness coaching, conflict resolution strategies, bias identification, psychoeducation, mood stabilization, social anxiety, phobia/exposure therapy, and problematic substance use, to name a few.
How do you know if therapy will help you? Try it and find out for yourself.
