Recovery is a belief system, nourished by the relationship with food.

What people are saying about Fresh Perspective?

What is fresh perspective?

Fresh Perspective is a therapeutic coaching & accountability program designed to provide foundational knowledge of therapeutic principles to help develop a Recovery mindset and lifestyle.

This program brings information and perspective of therapy PLUS the accountability of a coaching to apply change in our lives, right to the comfort of your own space. Therapy can often be overwhelming in it's original nature. Fresh Perspective slows it down and makes it more bite sized.  The program covers issues such as emotional regulation, mindfulness, somatic healing, addiction, anxiety, intergenerational trauma, ADHD, depression, and how those things intersect with our relationship with food.

It is designed to be an additional source of accountability for someone on their therapy journey, working on self development and healing, or even continuing education for providers. Each person we invite to work the program will be dealing with their own “stuff” and has committed to addressing their relationship with self through the topic of food and recovering their mental health.

FAQ

Here, you'll find answers to the most common inquiries about our program.

  • Fresh Perspective is not therapy.

It is a coaching-based program designed to supplement therapy or provide skill-based emotional support alongside real life. There is no diagnosing, no replacing clinical care, and no requirement to be in therapy to participate.

Think of this program as focused on awareness, skill-building, and lifestyle integration, rather than treatment.

  • No.

Food is part of the framework because stress often shows up there first—but Fresh Perspective is really about emotional regulation, nervous system awareness, and connection to self.

Many participants benefit even if food is not their primary concern.

  • No.

Fresh Perspective is for anyone seeking deeper self-awareness and sustainable emotional support. That said, many clinicians, caregivers, and helpers feel especially supported by this work because it integrates care without contributing to burnout.

  • Most participants complete about one session per week.

Each session is designed to fit into real life. You can move slower or faster depending on your capacity. The program is intentionally flexible, not rigid.

  • That’s okay.

There is no failing in this program. Repetition is often encouraged because it’s how skills become embodied—not just understood. You are allowed to move at your own pace.

  • That’s okay.

Tap-in sessions are 30-minute coaching conversations that occur after every 3–4 sessions.

During these sessions, we review patterns from your reflections and identify the most meaningful areas of focus based on what you’re navigating in your life at that time.

  • Yes—but it’s optional.

Homework may include reflection, journaling, or practicing skills in daily life. The goal is integration, not pressure.

  • Fresh Perspective is clinically informed but deeply human.

It’s not about fixing yourself or optimizing productivity. It’s about learning how to listen to and respond to your internal experience in a way that supports long-term well-being.

  • That’s okay.

Readiness doesn’t mean certainty—it means curiosity and a willingness to slow down. You don’t need to have everything figured out to begin.
